Being a teen is hard. Teen's bring their own unique set of struggles to the therapy office. Teens often times feel overwhelmed by emotion and they struggle knowing how to navigate these new, unfamiliar emotions. In my office, my goal is to provide a safe, caring environment for them to work through and express these feelings. I help provide coping skills and practical ways to manage the new emotions and stresses they encounter as a teen.

I work with teens in a variety of ways. Each teen is different, so treatment looks a little different for reach teen. I provide CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) , which is highly successful when working with anxiety, depression, and negative thought patterns. Sometimes talking and opening up can be difficult; I offer art therapy and other expressive therapies as well.
